Holistic Harmony is a rejuvenating wellness class designed specifically for individuals over 50 who are seeking to enhance their quality of life through the integration of seated breath work, meditation, medical qigong, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) tapping. This class is a harmonious blend of ancient wisdom and modern healing practices, tailored to cultivate energy, balance, and emotional well-being in a supportive and gentle environment.
Our class begins with a series of seated breathwork exercises that promote relaxation and bring awareness to the present moment. Participants will learn to harness the power of their breath to reduce stress, improve lung capacity, and prepare the mind for meditation. The subsequent guided meditation will encourage deep relaxation, mental clarity, and a sense of inner peace.
Transitioning to a standing position, the class will engage in balance exercises that are critical for fall prevention and overall stability. Following this, we'll flow into medical qigong, a form of gentle movement and energy cultivation that has been practiced for thousands of years in China. A soft Pilates ball and a strap are our companions in this journey, serving as tools to deepen your practice and add a layer of challenge to the workout. While these props are suggested, they are not mandatory, ensuring you can join in no matter what equipment you have to hand.
